Starting September with EEC (Pre-Monthly Meeting Newsletter)

In this newsletter: 9/8 meeting agenda, save the dates, community connections, and free compost!

Hello EEC friends, community members, and environmental stewards! For our September monthly meeting, we have new topics of Alder's "green legacy" and the possibility of a new seed library @ the Edgewater Library Branch! Also, coalition updates from Save Your Ash Chicago Coalition and the Indigenous Peoples' Day Coalition. Plus, fall gardening with The Horst & Anna WEAR Garden and Parkways for Pollinators. Every month, we have dedicated spots on the agenda for anyone to bring items related to our focus areas: Legislation/Policy, Housing & Buildings, Construction & Development, and Stewardship/Green Space/Ecology. If you have anything to contribute or discuss on these topics, please join us at the meetings and bring it to the group! For your fall gardening, free compost remains available at the Edgewater Gateway Garden. Details here. We look forward to seeing you soon! Our monthly meetings take place at 6:30 PM every second Thursday of the month, they are all posted on Events to RSVP. Our next meeting will take place on 9/8 at 6:30pm.
