Edgewater stewards & volunteers, join us for a workday exchange. We'll be collecting seeds at Hosah Park to bring back to the local natural area!

About the Event
Hosah Park is a secluded, small ecological sanctuary located at the southern tip of Illinois State Beach Park . Hosah Park is open for walking, bird watching, and enjoying the flora and fauna and the cooling lake breeze.
This is organized with Kathleen (http://kathleenmariegarness.com/), site steward at Hosah and creator of the Dunesland Habitat Plant Guides we use at Hollywood/Osterman Beach. Kathleen has provided seeds from her site to ours in the past and now we'd like to visit her site, participate in her workday seed collecting, and bring those seeds back to our site.
Carpooling options will be arranged before the work day. The site is also accessible by Metra and bike trail from Chicago.
