About the Event

Join Edgewater Environmental Coalition for the second event of our Community Resilience Workshop series, centering creativity and joy as we gather as neighbors to enjoy wild foods and learn about urban foraging. Meeting at Vedgewater Garden, Wild Foods Educator Natalie Ann Evans (https://www.natalieannevans.com/) will open with a picnic of locally sourced wild foods before the group will walk around the area and explore the edible plants right under our noses. This class will focus on responsible foraging practices and strategies for getting started right in our neighborhood.

The class is free to attend, with an optional donation to Chi-Nations Youth Council (https://chinations.org/donate/).

Following the picnic and walk, we'll head over to Lickity Split on Broadway for a dessert on EEC! Optional and we hope you'll join!

This event is brought to you with support from the Edgewater Chamber of Commerce and SSA #26.
