Join neighbors and environmental experts to learn how to make the transition from natural gas to electric and solar power for your home. Whether you own or rent your home, this event will give you the tools you need to decarbonize.


Speakers include:

  • Illinois Public Interest Research Group (PIRG) on the methane gas crisis

  • Citizens Utility Board on electric heat pumps, hot water heaters, induction stoves, tax credits, and utility savings

  • Third Act Illinois Home Energy Navigators with one-on-one consulting services

  • Elected officials on new policies underway that accelerate the clean energy transition


Presentation followed by a Q&A, snacks, drinks, and tabling by local organizations and contractors.
