Intern Introduction (Fall '25 ): Katie

Hello everyone!

I'm Katie, and I'm thrilled to be the newest intern for the Edgewater Environmental Coalition! I am a fourth-year environmental studies and theology student at Loyola University Chicago, and I'm looking forward to putting my education into practice during my time with EEC.

I am excited to engage further with the ever-growing environmental community in Edgewater, where I've contributed in the past through Loyola's Urban Agriculture program. I'm very passionate about community building--especially as a means to enhance sustainability--and I hope to see you all at events in the coming months!
