EEC provided a guided 'walking tour' to promote nature based solutions to shoreline erosion. This project, funded by Friends of the Park, was performed twice in September '23.
Katelyn Ng, a Loyola student and EEC member, guided participants through Hollywood and shoreline beach to display sights of shoreline erosion and nature based solutions. Participants were able to ask questions as they walked along the beach, growing deeper as an involved community.
The walking tour video provides watchers the guided tour experience. Viewers can access the video on Youtube and listen as they walk the Hollywood Osterman Beach path. This way, the nature based solutions information can be accessible to everyone.
