We invite you to join us for volunteering opportunities during the 2026 gardening season! All reoccuring events are now posted. Stay tuned for one-off volunteering opportunities as we progress through the season. See you out there!
Join us for a fun-filled day of volunteering at Vedgewater Volunteer Days and make a positive impact in our community!
The first Vedgewater Community Garden Workday of the season is April 11th from 10:30am-1:30pm! RSVP here. Following workdays will be on the 15th of the month. RSVP below.
Join friends and neighbors to help clean up and restore the natural area at Kathy Osterman Beach Dunes (also known as Hollywood/Ardmore)! Special stewardship season kick off is April 26th, celebrating Love Our Lakefront and as a site for Chicago's City Nature Challenge.
Join us to transform public spaces into pollinator forage and habitat, working to remediate the soil and capture carbon! Sign up by May 10 to recieve plants for the 2026 season.
Berger Park Monthly Volunteer Days
Get involved in gardening and other community activities at Berger Park! Events run from May to November on first Saturday of the month from 10am to 12pm.
Park 559 Monthly Volunteer Days
Join us for Park 559 Monthly Volunteer Days, happening on the third Sunday of the month from May to October at 11am! This is your chance to connect with nature, meet new friends, and contribute to the beauty of our beloved park.
EEC Monthly Meetings
Edgewater Environmental Coalition monthly meetings occur on the second Thursday of every month at 6:30pm. They are all posted in Upcoming Events. Join us to discuss your projects and connect with community members doing all kinds of environmental work.
