The Edgewater Library is supporting EEC with environmental education resources for children. Friends of the Edgewater Library has started a community engagement initiative with local groups/organizations to promote the Edgewater Branch Library and offer value to the partnering groups.
The objective is to support EEC's important work by providing a list of books that will educate youngsters about the environment. The idea for this initiative is to stimulate the interest of children in protecting our planet. At the below button is a list of children’s books about the environment that are available through the Chicago Public Library. By no means is this an exhaustive list; rather it’s a sampling that might spark further interest!
Please know about the library, visit it, and take out some of the suggested titles! This will promote environmental awareness at an early age and get kids to explore the library and read.
